LabScan XE

 
Measures Color the Way You See ColorThe LabScan® XE spectrophotometer has 0°/45° optical geometry that measures color the way that you see color, ignoring the glare, and including the effect of gloss or texture. Its large measurement port of 50 mm reduces the need to average and the variable illumination option has an automated zoom lens to measure samples as small as 5 mm. To maintain maximum measurement stability, LabScan XE automatically checks and adjusts to an internal reference standard. To accurately measure optically brightened materials, ultraviolet calibration and control of the illumination source is available. Use LabScan XE to measure samples in virtually any form including solids, powders and liquids. The system can be used in sample port-up, port-forward, and, with the optional sample stand, port-down orientation.

The Large Area View Color Measurement SystemNow with major enhancements of faster processor speeds and increased connectivity for perpherals, the D25L Colorimeter has a large viewing area that is optimized for measuring the color of coarse, non-homogeneous and irregularly shaped products. Popular with the food industry to measure samples such as cookies, crackers, chips, beans, spices, pasta and soups or in other industries to measure products such as ceiling tile, carpet, chemicals and minerals. The D25LT is a self-contained instrument which saves precious bench space. The one-piece instrument includes a large, color LCD touch screen for clear viewing of color measurement data as well as entry of parameter selections. An alphanumeric keypad displayed on the touch screen simplifies sample identification and data entry. The Professional Color Measurement SpectrophotometerThe UltraScan® PRO is designed to be your reference instrument for measuring both reflected and transmitted color. It meets CIE, ASTM and USP guidelines for accurate color measurement. The instrument’s 5 nm optical resolution enables it to precisely measure colors using colorants with sharp cutoff characteristics. The D65 illumination source is calibrated in the ultraviolet region for the accurate measurement of whitening agents. UltraScan PRO has an extended wavelength range into the near infrared and near ultraviolet that permits the measurement of camouflage materials and UV blockers. The system uses diffuse/8° geometry with automated specular component inclusion/exclusion. It also features three sizes of sample measurement areas with automated lens change.    The CIE Range Color Measurement SpectrophotometerUltraScan® VIS is a visible-range high-performance color measurement spectrophotometer that measures the full range of human color perception. It can be used in production and in the laboratory for inspecting raw materials, evaluating finished product or developing methods for color analysis. A host of measurement features and specialized sample-handling devices make UltraScan VIS a highly versatile color measurement spectrophotometer. Because of its exceptional inter-instrument agreement and long-term stability, you can be confident that differences between measurements are due to product color changes, not instrument variability. Materials on the borderline of accepted tolerances will not be unnecessarily rejected.

The UltraScan VIS easily measures both reflected and transmitted color as well as transmission haze and meets CIE, ASTM and USP guidelines for accurate color measurement. UltraScan VIS uses diffuse/8° geometry with automated specular component inclusion/exclusion. For transmission measurement, the sphere geometry virtually eliminates errors introduced by sample turbidity and haze.

The optical system has an effective bandwidth of 10 nm and spectral data is reported every 10 nm. Tristimulus color calculations are performed from 360 nm to 780 nm as recommended by the CIE. UltraScan VIS includes EasyMatch QC software.

   The Economical Color Measurement SpectrophotometerColorQuest® XE is a color measurement spectrophotometer at an economical price. It can be used in production or in the laboratory for inspecting raw materials and evaluating finished product. Use it to measure opaque, transparent and translucent solids and liquids for properties such as reflected color, opacity, strength, transmitted color, APHA and haze. Solid samples are easily positioned and supported at the reflectance port with the ergonomically designed sample clamp. The clamp pulls down a full 180º, and can be pulled out in small steps or removed entirely to accommodate thick samples. The spacious transmission compartment is open on three sides and has access from either side and from the top. It accommodates thin films, sheets, solids and transmission cells with path lengths up to 80 mm.

ColorQuest XE uses diffuse/8º geometry with automated specular component inclusion/exclusion. For transmission measurement, the sphere geometry virtually eliminates errors introduced by sample turbidity and haze.
