The SediGraph III Plus offers advanced instrumentation features that ensure measurements are repeatable and easy to perform. New features make it easier to operate and maintain the instrument, and the results can be reliably reproduced by SediGraphs in other locationsFor over three decades, the Micromeritics SediGraph has remained the standard instrument for particle size analysis in many laboratories throughout the world. Whether in a rugged production environment or a controlled laboratory setting, the SediGraph continues to produce accurate results with superior reliability. Particle size distribution is measured using the sedimentation method. Particle mass is measured directly via X-ray absorption. By measuring the rate at which particles fall under gravity through a liquid having known properties as described by Stokes’ law, the SediGraph determines the equivalent spherical diameter of particles ranging from 300 to 0.1 micrometers.The new generation SediGraph III Plus combines this proven technique with new technology to deliver reproducible and highly accurate particle size information, completing most analyses in minutes.

Elzone II 5390 

 
   The new Elzone II 5390 Particle Size Analyzer® utilizes the electrical sensing zone method to size samples without regard to optical properties, densities, colours, and shapes. The Elzone quickly and accurately determines the size, number, concentration, and mass of a wide variety of organic and inorganic materials. Automated features include: start-up, run, and shut-down routines; blockage detection and clearing; flushing/rinsing; and calibration. The Elzone determines particle size in a range suitable for a wide variety of industrial, biological, and geological specimens. A high level of accuracy and resolution, speed, ease-of-use, and compact size make the Elzone equally suitable for industry, quality control, and research and development laboratories.
 

Particle Insight

 
The Particle Insight is a state-of-the art dynamic image analyzer which is ideal for applications where the shape of raw materials, not just the diameter, is critical to raw materials. The Particle Insight offers up to 28 different shape parameters analyzed and reported real-time for samples in either aqueous or organic solvent suspensions. The system operates in a range suitable for a wide variety of industrial, biological, and geological specimens from 3 µm up to 300 µm in its standard configuration.
